Impostor Syndrome Struggles

We all get it

I don't know a single developer that has never struggled with impostor syndrome. If they've truly never felt it...well I'd just have a very hard time believing that!

What to do?

I'm sure there are many possibilities here, but the two main options I see.

  1. Get crippled by it and choose another career
  2. Push through and recognize it for what it is. In my case it typically feels like a skills gap. So I just use it as an excuse to buckle down and learn something new!

I was recently put on a project that was in the middle of development and it uses two frameworks that I've not really used before. So it's caused some stress and a good amount of time learning.

Push through...you'll come out better on the other side
